'I do not schedule interviews for candidates who are currently employed': HR shows true colors with bogus hiring policy, internet reacts

We all know that employers can be ruthless during the hiring process, but this hiring manager made it clear just how ruthless they can be. It goes without saying that insisting that the only candidates you interview are ones who are not currently employed full-time is a major red flag. First of all, it's quite clearly a tactic to exploit the desperation of unemployed candidates. Secondly, it's wildly limiting; don't you want candidates who are seeking you out as a potentially better place to work? I guess that doesn't really matter to hiring managers like these ones.  This thread was posted to Reddit's r/mildlyinfuriating subreddit, and the comments provide a glimpse into just how common this ridiculous hiring policy actually is. Imagine if this Redditor quit their job just so they could be considered for this one. In this economy? No way! Keep scrolling below for the best comments!
