When life is unpredictable, it's hard to get in a comfortable rhythm where you can simply relax and be yourself. Sometimes the only truly consistent thing in your life is your cat's undying need to terrorize your home and then bribe your compliance with cuddles, adorable 'brrreow's, and a heckling hairball on your bathroom floor. Your kitty may be an AH sometimes, but at least you can predict when he'll ignore you and show you his bum to establish dominance. That fact alone is enough to get your through the week, knowing that you can always look forward to, and rely on, your catto being a bit of a jerk.
