Roy And Diana Vagelos Give Columbia University $175 Million For Biomedical Research And Education

Columbia University has announced that it's received $175 million from Roy and Diana Vagelos to found the Vagelos Institute for Biomedical Research Education. The institute will focus on training PhD students and physician-scientists to translate basic discoveries into new medical treatments.
