'Don't ask me to do work for you': Airbnb customer asked to do laundry for host three times despite steep cleaning fee

These Airbnb hosts are in desperate need of a reality check. If there's one situation in which customers are allowed to go into full Karen rage mode, it probably has something to do with Airbnb, which has become a breeding ground for ripoffs and travel horror stories everywhere.  This guest shared their story via this thread on Reddit's r/AirBnB subreddit and explained that he was bothered not once, not twice, but three times to prepare laundry before their departure by their corporate Airbnb host. Now, not only is the guest already paying a $200 cleaning fee, but also this host clearly plans their turnovers so poorly that they have become overly reliant on guests to do their dirty work for them. This guest was not having it. After confronting the host, they quickly backtracked and grew fearful of a bad review. Serves them right!
