Two Pregnant Shark Species Were Implanted With Intrauterine Satellite Tags To Track Their Birth Locations

Scientists have implanted a novel intrauterine satellite tag into two highly mobile apex predators, the tiger shark (Galeocerdo cuvier) and the scalloped hammerhead (Sphyrna lewini), to document the location and timing of the birth of their pups.
