The only thing worse than a messy college apartment is when you have to do all the cleaning. Now, in fairness, no one is expecting a perfect spotless apartment when you're 22 and living with four other twentysomethings. Even the original poster herself admits to sometimes being too busy to do the dishes until the end of the day. Perfectly normal! However, when you have one long table that you all use for eating and studying and there's no more room to do either of those things, that's when you have a real issue. This thread was posted to Reddit's r/EntitledPeople subreddit by u/prisma_angel, and I'll be honest, it's kind of nostalgic to hear this young woman coming to terms with the fact that she lives with slobs. We've all been there. Clearly, based on the wide range of advice and guidance from folks in the comments section, having a messy roommate is a universal experience - unless, that is, you are the messy roommate.
