National Defense Authorization Act Shores Up Critical Supply Chain Vulnerabilities… And Olives

The 2023 NDAA includes 39 “Items of Special Interest” each tasking the DoD to analyze or resolve a key supply chain issue. While many of these items tie into key defense acquisition challenges, one of the more interesting items is a requirement for the DoD to analyze its acquisition of olives.
