'AITA for taking my dog into the grocery store?' Pet owner berated by fellow shopper and again online for taking their dog into a grocery store

This pet owner found herself accosted by a stranger after she took her dog into the grocery store "For no more than 10 minutes." The stranger told her that it was "gross as f***" and told her to stop being a lazy pet owner. She has not turned to a popular Reddit community to see whether or not she is in the wrong for taking her dog into the shop. What stands out to me the most in the original poster's writing is the line, "I apologized and said the most convenient thing for me was to come here with Peanut." The most convenient thing for her acknowledges the fact that she felt that her convenience was more important than doing the socially acceptable, correct thing. It's also funny that she tries to justify it by mentioning the (what she felt to be) short duration when doing it at all is the issue. This "proud owner of 'Peanut'" should spend some time looking in the mirror to reflect on why she thinks herself above the rules. What's your take? Do you agree with Reddit's unanimous decision that she is in the AH in this situation? For more, check out this pet owner who let their dog poop in someone else's yard, returning to respond to the criticism they received.
