Sleep apnoea gadget that could save lives by zapping tongue could be made free on NHS

The eXciteOSA (pictured in use), zaps the tongue and upper airway with an electrical current. Repeated use strengthens the muscles in the tongue, making it less likely to collapse during sleep.
