'Sick' trailer: 'Scream' screenwriter's pandemic slasher is here

In April 2020, our biggest worry was naturally the threat of COVID-19. However, for Sick's protagonists Parker (Gideon Adlon) and Miri (Bethlehem Million), their biggest worry is COVID — and murder. The two decide to quarantine together in a lake house and make the most of isolation. But while their house's remote location may help protect them from the spread of the virus, it certainly doesn't help when a hooded slasher accosts them. The trailer promises bloody thrills, tense chase sequences, and much discussion of mask safety. This latest Blumhouse spookshow is co-written by Scream creator Kevin Williamson, so you know we'll be in for a meta-good time.Sick will premiere exclusively on Peacock Friday, Jan. 13.
