(December 21 01:00) I Can Has Cheezburger?
If there's one thing about us - we can never just pass by a rescue story, no matter how sad or heartbreaking it is. Because the thing about rescue stories is that at the end of the day, the cats do get rescued and do find forever homes. So as depressing and miserable as the story may sound in the beginning, remember that it will get better. Maybe just not right away. Maybe just maybe, the cat has to overcome a few more obstacles before reaching its final destination. And that's exactly what today's Twitter thread is about. Someone posted a photo of a black cat that was returned to the animal shelter for being too cuddly. Can y'all even believe that? Fellow cat people rushed to share photos and stories of their own felines that were returned for the stupidest reasons. Pardon our language. But at the end of the day, everything seemed to work out for these cats and if you really think about it, those other humans didn't deserve to have cats in the first place.
