Sturgeon hammers Scottish middle classes by hiking higher rate income tax to 42p and top rate to 47p

In a move that will bring more misery to middle-earners during the cost-of-living crisis, First Minister Nicola Sturgeon is hiking both the top and higher rate of income tax by 1p.
