This company actually instituted a smell check policy as a result of long bathroom breaks. You can't even make these things up anymore. When will these horrible bosses learn that watching over your employees like a hawk (to the point that their personal bodily functions are being monitored) is not going to boost productivity? It's certainly not going to boost morale either. This thread was posted to Reddit's r/antiwork subreddit by u/Covenent125, and let's just say that the clever members of Reddit's antiwork community make these comments so entertaining. Whether it was suggesting to use fart sprays or crumbled brownies as evidence, the comments on this thread only make the initial demand seem all the more ridiculous. As one person put it, when you hire an employee, you are hiring a human being who sometimes needs to take more than a 10-minute break to take care of themselves. Leave us alone, please!
