IRS Whistleblower Program — Getting Back On Track

The IRS is working to get the tax whistleblower program back on track, appointing John Hinman to be the new Director of the Whistleblower Office. In a recent summit with whistleblower attorneys, Mr. Hinman and IRS officials outlined a program of reforms and also best practices for whistleblowers.
