Cost of flights set to increase as pilots threaten to strike if they don't get raises of 20%

Pilots with Delta, United, American Airlines and Southwest are all battling their executives over pay rises. The pilots want their companies to follow a lead set by Alaska Airlines, which has a 20pc rise.
