Pound dives 2% against dollar to $1.1158 after Bank of England raised interest rates by 0.75% to 3% 

The sterling shed 2.1 per cent to 1.1158 against the US dollar after finance tsars at the Bank of England hiked rates by 0.75 per cent to three per cent this afternoon.
