Charity criticised for appointing a man to make statue of suffragist Elsie Inglis stands by decision

Artists who had spent hours on their competition entries said the last minute decision by the Statue For Elsie charity to appoint the royal sculptor Alexander Stoddart was 'wrong' and 'embarrassing'.
