14 Cats Living Up To Their Breed Stereotypes Brought To You By The ICanHasCheezburger Community

Listen, we have a hate-love relationship with stereotypes. On the one hand, they can be incredibly mean, demeaning, and simply not true. A poorly made judgment based on a stereotype could harm someone in more ways than one can imagine. For example, it could cost someone their career. On the other hand, if taken lightly and always with a grain of salt, stereotypes could be harmless. And we have the perfect example to illustrate. We recently turned to our ICanHasCheezburger community over on Facebook and asked them to share their cat's breed and one stereotypical thing they do as a representative of that breed. As per usual, our community of cat enthusiasts did not disappoint and fully understood the assignment. Not only did they answer all our questions and concerns, but they also provided some very credible cat tax. While we wish we could include all hundreds of replies that we received, we did our best to include as many representatives as possible. We hope you enjoy!
