Save $19.01: As of Oct. 14, the third generation AirPods are on sale for $149.99 at Walmart. That 11-ish percent discount still beats record-low pricing at Amazon, where they're not even on sale.If your first and only stop when shopping for something specific, like the newest AirPods, was Amazon, you'd have completely missed that Walmart is quietly running a way better deal. (Our Prime Day advice to cross-check prices applies to the whole year, folks.)Retailing for $169 at Apple and chilling at full price at Amazon, you can snag the third generation AirPods for $149.99 with free shipping at Walmart. At just over $19 or 11% off, the deal isn't huge in terms of money — but it's huge in terms of "this beats Amazon's record-low pricing by a long shot."

Though they've been out since October of 2021, the third generation AirPods are still the newest non-Pro AirPods. And you can tell just by looking at them. While the first two iterations were almost indistinguishable in their vertical rectangular cases, the third gen rectangular design goes landscape mode like the AirPods Pro case.Inside, the buds themselves are Pro-adjacent as well: More pronounced egg-shaped earpieces attached to shorter stems. (Those little stems can be squeezed to control playback.) These buds should last six hours before dying, adding an hour to the life of the second gen.Without the silicone ear tips of the Pro, and as with any headphones lacking ANC, there's room for outside noise to budge in. But aside from a few outlying rambunctious environments, you'll still be pretty immersed by the audio quality here. The newest AirPods provide rich, crisp sound that feels like it's playing all around you, thanks to Apple's addition of spatial audio.
