Stunning droneship footage captures Falcon 9 launch and landing

Another day, another successful launch and landing for SpaceX's very busy Falcon 9 rocket.The reusable craft launched the Intelsat G-33/G-34 mission on Oct 8, taking off from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida and marking this particular booster's 14th launch and landing. Tweet may have been deleted (opens in a new tab) Then, late on Tuesday, SpaceX went one better, sharing sped-up footage that was initially livestreamed from their droneship based around 600km off the coast in the Atlantic Ocean. Tweet may have been deleted (opens in a new tab) The footage sees the booster launching at sunset, with light from the atmosphere reflecting off the rocket plume to create a beautiful "jellyfish" effect. Nine minutes after launch the screen turns orange-red, and the booster lowers into view with a perfect landing on the droneship.
