Zoom is down so work is over for the day

Zoom is down right now, with users complaining of seeing “an error occurred” and not being able to launch meetings. Zoom’s main website, zoom.us, is currently displaying a 502 gateway error in what is a major Zoom outage occurring right now. Zoom’s status page reveals there is a “major outage,” and many people are unable to attend meetings. It appears that some Zoom accounts are still able to connect using personal logins, but work and school accounts seem to be heavily affected. If you’re currently trying to get into a Zoom meeting, then there’s no ETA on when the service will be back up and running.
