Federal Court Strikes Down Maine’s Residency Requirement For Cannabis Business Owners

A law requiring all owners of medical marijuana businesses in Maine to be residents of the state was struck down last week by a federal appeals court, which ruled that the statute is a violation of the U.S. Constitution.
