Afghan passenger jet hijacker is jailed for life for axe attack on his wife 

Mohammed Safi, 54, tried to kill his wife Lina in a 'frenzied assault with an axe' at the family home in Hounslow, west London. He hijacked a passenger plane and flew it to the UK 22 years ago.
