We recently stumbled upon a Twitter thread where someone posted a photo of their white cat sunbathing on a living room couch and doing it oh so majestically. Along with the photo, they wrote that they adopted this cat 8 years ago from PetSmart. Not only that, but the cat was 50% off. Cat people quickly reacted and began to send in photos of their cats that they too, adopted from PetSmart and animal shelters. If there's any takeaway from this thread it's obviously a. adopt, don't shop, and b. you can't put a price tag on a beloved pet because, at the end of the day, there's nothing more valuable than the bond you share with your four-legged friends.
