NY Times profits falls $7m to $51m as it swallows up losses from $550m purchase of The Athletic

The New York Times has seen its operating profits tumble by $7.2m to $51m after acquiring The Athletic in February for a whopping $550m, but the losses are expected to diminish as the merging continues.
