Why HBCU Graduates Make Such Great Teachers

HBCU-educated Black male teachers spend over 5 hours a week on tutoring outside the classroom and 6 hours a week on mentoring, compared to 4 hours a week each, on the part of Black teachers who did not graduate from HBCUs.
