The Russian tank design flaw that makes them 'mobile coffins' with multiple shells stored together

Unlike in Western tanks, Russian vehicles store up to 40 shells in a carousel at the base of the turret, making them extremely vulnerable in what is known as the 'jack-in-the-box effect'.
