Yet, a harrowing tale of five felines found stranded inside a hay bale ended in Christmas cheer for them and their new cat parents.In October 2021, an agricultural transport truck set off from the chilly Northeast, heading south toward Virginia. After crossing the Mason-Dixon Line into the Commonwealth, the driver realized that there were more than just hay bales in tow and discovered five kittens inside one of the bales.With their eyes still shut, the kitten quintuple was just days old.
