People Don't Want The Police Petting Their Pets: A Twitter Thread

Petting good bois on the street may just be one of the greatest joys in life. Only if it's consensual, of course! Before you go to pet a pupper, you have to analyze the environment and behaviors around you. You never want to scare or intimidate the dog in order to avoid aggression and distress. You also always want to make sure that the owner of the doggo is okay with you petting their pet. This brings us to today's discussion.  New York Times Best Selling Author, Lauren Hough, shared an amusing interaction she experienced with a police officer while walking her dog. People's reactions were not surprising, many agreed and continued the joke. It turns out that while police officers may have a warm attitude towards doggos, their owners don't feel the sane towards the officers themselves. Aside from the funny memes, a handful of users shared their experiences relating to officers approaching doggos after rallies and protests. Little did the police know, the owners of the puppers were just gassed at a peaceful protest.
