Supply chain crunch and rising cost of crude oil could put US on collision course with inflation 

Economist Stephen Roach said, 'We were sort of one supply chain glitch away from stagflation,' referring to the inflation crisis the US faced in the 1970s, where economic pressures push prices higher.
