Sotheby’s Must Face Lawsuit Over Claims It Helped Art Collector Evade Taxes

A New York judge has denied a motion by Sotheby’s to dismiss a lawsuit brought by the state attorney general against the auction house that charges that it helped a collector avoid sales tax on $27 million worth of art.
