Every once in a while, someone will interact with some animals in a weird or funny way, and twitter.. twitter cannot help themselves. They make that person go viral, the meme the heck out of them, they can't stop. It's like that time that they made the 101-year-old lobster woman who yeeted a lobster back into the ocean into a meme, or the time they made the girl who accidentally left her sugar glider in her bra as she went to a doctor go viral. This time, it is an already famous person getting the twitter treatment, and it's funnier than you may think. Angela Merkel has gone on a zoo visit, got spooked by some birds, and twitter ran with it in the funniest ways. Really, ridiculous birds are the only way anything mildly political could be made funny - that and awwdorable dogs in politics who secretly run the world.
