National Plastic Tax Proposal Follows The Enactment Of New State Level Plastics Fees

The national plastics tax unveiled by congressional Democrats in early September follows the emergence of new state legislation, which has thus far been enacted in Maine and Oregon, that drives up the cost of consumer goods by imposing new fees on plastic packaging.
