VA to make benefits available to more than 14,000 who were discharged under 'don't ask, don't tell'

On Monday, the tenth anniversary of the repeal of 'Don't Ask Don't Tell,' the VA announced that vets discharged for their gender identity, sexual orientation or HIV status are now eligible for full VA benefits.
