Iceland boss warns C02 shortage will hit food supplies 'within DAYS'

CO2 is used in the UK to stun animals for slaughter, package meat and also in refrigeration systems. It is also used in fizzy drinks, beer, cheese, fruit and vegetables and crumpets, among other items.
