Coronavirus cases rise by just 1.1% in a week to 32,406 while daily deaths jump by 29 to 133 

Britain is currently recording around 30,000 Covid cases a day, which SAGE scientists fear will surge when schools return next week. This time last year there were 2,000 cases a day.
