Salmonella outbreak in 17 states feared from Italian-style deli meat as 12 hospitalized and 36 ill

Twelve people were taken to hospital between May and the end of July with suspected salmonella poisoning. All those affected had eaten Italian-style deli meat. The CDC is investigating.
