New College Sports Alliance May Face Similar Antitrust Scrutiny To The NCAA

Earlier this week, the 41 member colleges that make up the Pac-12, ACC and Big Ten conferences have formed a new alliance. However, much like the NCAA, this new alliance is unlikely to be allowed to implement financial restraints on athlete pay without running afoul to antitrust laws.
