UK's daily Covid deaths jump by a third in a week to 149 and infections nudge up 6% to 35,847

Department of Health data showed 149 Covid fatalities were registered in the last 24 hours, which was up from the 111 recorded last Wednesday. And infections nudged up by six per cent.
