Polka Dot Man David Dastmalchian Gets Chosen By A Stray Cat (Tweets)

No matter who you are, no matter where you are, if you are destined to have a cat, that cat will find you, and that cat will choose you. Because, really, humans don't choose their cats, cats are the ones who choose us, and we have no way to respond other than taking them and spoiling them rotten. Or, like in the case of The Suicide Squad's Polka Dot Man, i.e. David Dastmalchian, spoil them and make them superstars. All it really took for this lovely cat, now named Abner Bubblegum Polka Dot Cat, or Bubblegum for short, to be adopted is to approach David Dastmalchian, and that's it, his heart was stolen. Adorably, the costume designer for the movie, Judianna Makovsky, fell in love with the little cat too, and made the cat a superhero costume of its own - a polka dot-covered suit and goggles - inspired by the original Polka Dot suit.
