Russian wildfire smoke reaches the NORTH POLE 2,000 miles away in historic first

The vast, thick, acrid mass of smoke emitted from hundreds of forest fires in Siberia has unfurled itself for 2,000 miles from east to west and from 2,500 miles from north to south.
