Four in 10 Britons see China as a threat and just 15% want closer ties with authoritarian superpower

Some 43 per cent of those polled by Redfield and Wilton Strategies for MailOnline see Beijing as an adversary. In contrast little more than one in 10 (11 per cent) see China as a global ally.
