Shares in Pratt and Whitney's parent company plunge in pre-market trading

Shares in US-based Raytheon, the parent company of Pratt & Whitney, had suffered a 2.9 per cent drop as of 6.20am EST in a blow to one of the main players in the aircraft engine market.
