U.S. Financial Regulators Weigh ‘Further Action’ Following GameStop Craze

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said financial regulators would meet Thursday to weigh whether they needed to take regulatory action after the GameStop trading frenzy roiled Wall Street last week, but added that regulators needed to “understand deeply” what happened before any decision was made.
