Savings rates hit new low as £10k earns just £1 a YEAR as Britons stash away cash during lockdown

Interest rates on savings have plummeted - just as we stash away more cash in lockdown. The rates of Isas, fixed savings bonds and notice accounts have also fallen to their lowest level since 2007.
