The Straits Times Index ended some choppy Tuesday trading down by 6.73 points, or 0.23%, at 2,977.17.
About 2.1 billion securities worth S$1.44-billion changed hands, with advancing stocks outnumbering decliners, 274 to 210.
Among the top gainers were Thai Beverage with 3.25% or S$0.025 gain, CapitaLand up by 2.04% or S$0.07 increase, and CityDev which went higher by S$0.14 or 1.95%.
On to Wall Street, most US stocks have reversed their losses on Monday trade, with the Dow Jones Industrial up by 60 points or 0.19% to 31,068.69.
