Only gay actors should play gay characters, says former Doctor Who screenwriter Russell T Davies

Screenwriter Russell T Davies said all the gay characters in his upcoming Channel 4 drama It's A Sin are played by gay actors because it is the only way to ensure 'authenticity' in their performances.
