The top active stocks were Medtecs International, which jumped 11.86%, DBS, which rose 1.42%, Genting Sing, which advanced 8.05%, Singtel, which edged up 0.44%, and OCBC Bank with a 1.36% expansion. The FTSE Mid Cap increased 1.87%, whilst the FTSE Small Cap inched up 0.18%.
