Adapting Iain Reid's debut novel I'm Thinking of Ending Things is a complicated task — one that seems to have been made even more complicated by the surreal genius of director Charlie Kaufman. An intricate weaving of two artists' perspectives on meaningful existence (and a million other things, depending how the mirror-like film hits you), Netflix's take on the story of Jake and his unnamed girlfriend is clearly spectacular.
