Medtecs International saw the sharpest decline amongst top active stocks with a 0.69% contraction.
The Straits Times Index ended 6.45 or 0.26% lower at 2,504.76.
The top active stocks were Medtecs International, which dropped 0.69%, DBS, which fell 0.34%, UOB, which slipped 0.41%, OCBC Bank, which dipped 0.35%, and Singtel, which remained flat.
The FTSE Mid Cap edged down 0.09%, whilst the FTSE Small Cap dipped 0.05%.
